Sarah Halsell
Elder Law Attorney
Sarah Halsell is an elder law attorney licensed by the Florida Bar. A Florida native, she focuses her practice on estate planning, with a particular emphasis on planning for aging and incapacity.
Ms. Halsell earned her B.A. in Psychology and Political Science, summa cum laude, from Florida State University in 1998, and her Juris Doctor (J.D.), magna cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law in 2003.
Before entering private practice, Ms. Halsell spent nearly 18 years as the State Legal Services Developer at the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, where she worked on access to justice issues for Florida’s older adults. She remains actively involved in the legal community, serving on the Estate Planning & Probate Committee of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and volunteering with the Claude Pepper Elder Law Clinic at FSU.
Beyond her legal work, Ms. Halsell is dedicated to community service. She volunteers with Safe Families for Children and serves as a board member and grant writer for Making Miracles Group Home.
