Sarah Halsell

Elder Law Attorney

Sarah Halsell is an elder law attorney, licensed by the Florida Bar. A Florida native, she earned her B.A. in Psychology and Political Science, Summa Cum Laude, from Florida State University in 1998 and her J.D., Magna Cum Laude, from the Florida State University College of Law in 2003. Sarah focuses her practice on estate planning with an emphasis on planning for aging and incapacity. Prior to going into private practice, Sarah served almost 18 years as the State Legal Services Developer at the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, working on access to justice issues for Florida’s older adults. Currently, she serves on the Estate Planning & Probate Committee of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and volunteers with the Claude Pepper Elder Law Clinic at FSU. In the community, Sarah volunteers with Safe Families for Children and for Making Miracles Group Home as a board member and grant writer.
